What Residential Services Does Adapt Offer?
We specialize in decorative concrete finishes—this includes colored flake floors, metallic epoxies, polished concrete, and the like. We transform garages, basements and patio’s from plain, boring, and worn to beautiful extensions of your living space. Our goal is to always meet the functional needs and aesthetic goals of our clients—we have many tools in our toolbox and can offer a wide range of solutions and knowledge to ensure our clients are investing in the right option for their specific needs.
Is Adapt Local to The Iowa Great Lakes Area?
100%. From ownership to employees, we are as local as it gets. Our studio/shop is in Spirit Lake, IA, and we have been built from the ground up, by providing our services to the Iowa Great Lakes area from the beginning.
What is Your Most Requested Product By Homeowners?
Garage flooring. Simply, because it is the most effective upgrade to a home. Many of us spend a large amount of time in the garage, from dealing with melting vehicles in the winter, hosting gatherings in the summer, or prepping the boat, filling the coolers, watching the game—you name it. Doing all of this on top of a finished floor is a game-changing experience. First, it’s incredibly easy to clean. Second, it looks like an extension of your living space. No longer do you have to avoid the ‘mess’ of a garage, but rather, you can enjoy the daily experience of a beautiful space.
Do You Install Coatings in Basements?
Certainly! This is where our metallic coatings are the most popular. These coatings are truly one of a kind—no two are ever the same. It is a great option for those who want the easy maintenance of a concrete coating but prefer something more unique than the decorative flake in their garage. Concrete coatings are also preferred in lower levels for their ability to handle water and mess. Perhaps it is wet feet from the lake, a little ground water during the wet season, or an entertainment area which takes a lot of traffic and spills. All these scenarios lead our clients to coating their concrete basement floors.
Do You Offer Exterior Options?
Yes. Our most requested exterior solutions are patios and pool decks. Clients often have an exterior patio, pool deck, or sidewalk they wish would match the finish of the rest of the property. We have overlay and coating options to drastically change the look of an outdoor space.
Does Adapt Only Do Residential Work?
Not at all. We install industrial and commercial systems across a wide territory of the Midwest. Though, this breadth of experience is what makes us unique in the residential market. Our ability to understand unique needs and offer multiple options is what sets us apart from the competition. We love improving our clients’ homes in the NW Iowa Lakes area, and we have strong relationships with many of the local contractors and tradesmen working here.
Adapt Polishes Concrete Too, Correct?
Most definitely. It is typically the best choice for high foot traffic environments. Think about schools, showrooms, etc. We have polished floors in some beautiful homes but, if you are considering polishing your residence, it is ideally best to discuss with us prior to pouring the slab to achieve the results desired.
